Notifications not working

 
 

Not getting your breaking news notifications on your iOS or Android device?

In the Fantasy Life App:

  1. Tap the “Profile” button in the bottom right of your screen.

  2. Click “Edit” in the top right corner of your screen.

  3. Scroll down to the bottom of settings and click “Pro Tips.”

  4. Swipe through the new-user orientation tabs again and be sure to tap “Yes!” on the final prompt to re-authorize your notification permissions!

Be sure you have also allowed Fantasy Life App to send Notifications in your phone’s settings:

  • On your iOS device: “Settings” > “Notifications” > “Fantasy Life App.” Toggle “Allow Notifications” to the green “on” position, and tap to enable notifications on the Lock Screen, Notification Center and Banners. You can also enable sounds and badges here to make sure you never miss an alert.

  • On your Android Device: “Apps” > “Settings” > “MORE” > “Application Manager” > “Downloaded” > “Fantasy Life App.” Check the appropriate checkboxes to enable notifications from Fantasy Life App.

If that doesn’t work, your old settings may be cached. To solve for that:

  1. Tap the “Profile” button in the bottom right of your screen

  2. Click “Edit” in the top right corner of your screen

  3. Scroll down and tap “Log Out”

  4. Delete the app from your device

  5. Re-install the app from the App Store or Play Store

  6. Swipe through the Pro Tips you’re shown upon opening the app and authorize notifications as normal
